Blackberry leaves

In folk medicine, especially the blackberry leaves are used. Between June and August, the mostly white flowers are formed. Then the leaves are collected and dried.

Taste. Blackberry leaves have a spicy-tart flavor.

Effect. Blackberry leaves contain tannins, flavonoids and fruit acids such as citric acid and have an antipyretic effect. The infusion was also used in the past for external application for chronic skin diseases.
