Lovage

Lovage - better known as celery herb or Maggi herb, is one of the most important spice herbs in European cuisine. By the way, lovage has nothing to do with the well-known food seasoning of the company Maggi.

Taste. Lovage tastes spicy, slightly bitter and sweet at the same time.

Effect. The roots in particular are rich in essential oils and antispasmodic ingredients, which do not lose their effect even after drying. Lovage has proven to be particularly effective for bladder inflammation and urinary tract infections, as the herb is not only anti-inflammatory but also has a diuretic effect.
