Rosemary

Rosemary was named medicinal plant of the year in 2011 and is a very old spice and medicinal plant, which was already used extensively in ancient times.

Taste. Rosemary is highly aromatic, tastes slightly bitter and resinous. The flavour can be compared to a mixture of camphor and eucalyptus.

Effect. The possible uses of rosemary in modern herbal medicine include digestive complaints, minor psychological disorders and numerous inflammations. The substances contained in the leaves of rosemary have analgesic, tonic, anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic, antibacterial, relaxing and calming effects.
